How do I get a quote for my move?

We offer free, no-obligation quotes. You can get started by filling out our quick online quote form or giving us a call with details like your current address, destination, and what you need moved. A team member will get back to you promptly with a tailored estimate.

When is the best time to move?

Anytime is a great time to move with Fox. We offer two unique arrival windows, 7-8am and 11-2pm.

How far in advance should you book with a removal company?

As far in advance as you can, if you have specific dates that you MUST move, the more notice, the better. The general rule of thumb is to talk to removal companies 3-months before you relocate as they will usually be available, and it means you’re being proactive with planning your move. Booking early also means you can be more proactive in planning your move and avoid last-minute stress. Moving house is already a big task, don’t add the pressure of rushing if you can help it.

How long does it take to move?

Each relocation is unique but on average, budget 2 hours for each bedroom. Example: 4 bedroom home takes roughly 8 hours to relocate.

How is the cost of the move determined?

We charge at an hourly rate. Enquire with our representatives if you desire fixed price quoting.

How & when should I pay?

After your relocation is completed, payment by Eftpos, Bank Transfer or cash is accepted.

Can my possessions be stored temporarily?

Yes you can! If you need help storing your valuables in the short-term, give us a call and our representatives can walk you through our numerous storage options.

Do you offer packing and unpacking services?

Can I move on weekends?

Yes, we offer weekend moves to make the process more convenient for you. Just let us know your preferred moving date when requesting a quote, and we’ll do our best to accommodate your schedule.

Are my belongings insured during the move?

Fox Removals provides comprehensive insurance options, including public and product liability insurance and transit insurance. This means you’re covered in the unlikely event of damage or an accident.

What is your cancellation or rescheduling policy?

We understand that plans can change! If you need to cancel or reschedule your move, just let us know at least 48 hours in advance.

Cancellations made with less than 48 hours’ notice will incur a minimum 3-hour charge, as our team has already allocated time and resources for your booking.
